The Indie Dyers Spectrum is a fiber and art festival hosted at the Daniel Carter Auction and Event Center in Allegany, New York. The event features over 30 yarn and fiber vendors along with local artisans offering everything from hand dyed yarn, hand dyed spinning fiber, high quality fleece for hand spinners, pottery, hand made soaps and cosmetics, and more. Plus there will be plenty of delicious food and adorable animals to pet including baby alpacas, lambs, sheep, and angora rabbits.

In addition to your favorite local fiber vendors, there are demonstrations and events planned through out the day that include:

Sheep shearing demo at 1:00 PM

Used equipment auction to support the local 4H club at 2:00 PM

Raffle drawing that includes a chance to win one of over 20 vendor sponsored prizes at 4:00 PM

Bring the whole family to enjoy a relaxing day of shopping and delicious food alongside animals.

Event Details

This is a one day event that takes place on September 10th at the Daniel Carter Auction and Event Center in Allegany, NY. Doors open at 10 AM and there will be plenty of free and convenient parking at the event site. This is both an indoor and outdoor event, with the majority of the vendors located inside the event center and the animals, food trucks and additional vendors setup outside along with plenty of comfortable seating for you to sit and knit.

Admission is only $5 (cash only) to this family friendly event.
